Overview

This is a small very unique hotel located in the rainforest jungle just south of Arenal Volcano.  This hotel is a area favorite and was designed so each tree house is private, comfortable and has a low impact on the jungle and animal life..  We are known for our wonderful breakfast, wildlife and bird viewing, hiking and excellent customer service.

The current owners added 4 large tree houses on the back of the property which was completed in 2012.  The workman ship is stunning and each is well appointed with all the comforts including full baths and hot water showers.  All of the tree houses are approximately 30 feet up in the canopy of the jungle with amazing views.

This hotel has the use of another 76 acres for hiking and there is a small waterfall and river where you can fish and swim.  This 76 acres is also a possibility to purchase which would give a new owner endless opportunities for expansion.

The rancho where we serve breakfast has a nice size full kitchen and bathroom.

The owners house is a 2 bedroom and has a full bath and 2 1/2 baths. The 2nd bedroom is a large loft with a living room area upstairs.  The bathrooms were remodeled in 2020.  The 3rd bedroom was turned into a office.

The laundry room has 4 washers and 3 driers.

This hotel does well selling tours with the possibility of making a good $1000 per tree house per month when things get busy. This is the top adventure area of Costa Rica.

Between 2010 and 2017 we were running a constant 92 to 95% occupancy rate.  The end of 2017, 2018 and 2019  the % dropped due to the tourist industry as a whole here in Costa Rica went down.

Reservations are starting to come back and we expect it is just going to get better and better as this year goes on and next year will be stellar.  This hotel attracts adventure people mostly from the US and Canada.  It is the perfect place to be and not have to worry about Covid social distancing with plenty of room to breath!
